Founded in 2008, IcSpring became the first company in mainland China to mass-produce a full range of high-end SerDes (300,000-16 million) image controller chips in 2021. In 2023, it became the first company in Asia to develop and implement eUSB2 chips. In January 2024, it developed a 5 million USB image controller chip that is "smaller than a grain of rice" with a width of 1.8mm. It has mastered core technologies of SerDes and ISP (image processing) such as PCIe, MIPI, USB2.0, USB3.1, HDMI2.0, HDMI2.1, DP1.4, GSML, and eUSB2.
